Graduated from the Art College in 1974 in Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) and Art Academy in 1980 in Moscow (Russia).

Awarded the prize of Mongolian Artists Union in 1985, prize of Mongolia Youth Union in 1989, and diploma in 1985 in Sophia (Bulgaria), participated in Republican exhibitions since 1974. Participated in International exhibitions in 1991 (Moscow, Russia), 1992 (London, UK), 1989 (Fukuoka, Japan), 1984 (Havana, Cuba).

Since her first "foot hold" in the artistic word, Togs-Oyun has been recognized as a talented representative of younger generation of mongolian artists.

Being driven by her own aspiration, the artist's life has been dedicated to serve for beauty of nature and humanity. As an every artist, Togs-Oyun constantly searches the meanings of significance of the objects existing in nature and interprets them in her own manner.

Poetical and philosophical expressions of her works explain her feelings of harmony. A lyrical perspective is specific for her portraits, still-life, landscapes, techniques as pastel, oil, gouache, tempera, ink, pencil, monotype and etching as well as aquatint, dry-point, mezzotint, mixed techniques and many others are used by the artist in her graphic works, book illustrations and painting.

History and tradition are the subject of Togs-Oyun's study, she traveled all over the Mongolia, especially in Gobi, semi-desert region of Mongolia. The nomad's way of life, customs, legend and myths of Mongols has been described in her works, such as "Goa Maral" triptych. She interprets the meaning of totems and religion of ancient Mongols, which is significant for the artistic expression. Besides that a culture of different nations, characters of each person, their temper play an important role in her art works. As a book-illustrator Togs-Oyun is a famous among readers, which was proved by her first illustration to Mr. Luvsantseren's book "Adventure of Borzo - a little boy" in 1974.

The artist tries to broaden a range of her studies of monumental art. She participated in building the wall of mosaics full of personages of Mongolian tails and stories.

Her paintings and graphics works are in collections of Fine Art Museum, Modern Art gallery, Fukuoka Art Museum (japan) and in the state and private organizations such as Trade and Development Bank, Agricultural Bank, Mongolian Chamber of Trade and Industry, hotels “Undruul”, “Tsetseg”, The Asia foundation San Francisco, USA, Soros Foundation, Ulaanbaatar.Her works are in the collections individuals from Japan, USA, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Korea, China, Russia.
